Coaches Ministry

At the heart of FCA are coaches. Our role is to minister to these men and women by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Christ. FCA ministers to coaches through Bible studies, staff contacts, prayer support, discipleship and mentoring, Behind the Bench (a program for coaches wives), resources, outreach events, national and local conventions, conferences and retreats.

What Is Our Purpose?

To empower and equip Christian athletic leaders to minister to coaches, helping them to live and coach with biblical priniciples through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Key Objectives

To develop a diverse group of FCA staff who can minister to coaches and mentor others to do the same.
To train FCA staff in coaches ministry model that can be replicated in college, high school, middle school, club shorts, youth leagues, on the mission field and across the nation.
To provide in-depth training in the principles of biblical coaching, discipleship skills, leadership development, mentoring skills and resource development.

Every parent, coach, manager and leader

should read it.  I wish I had read it 30 years ago."
