Denzel Gresham

 Mr. Gresham is a native of the Cleveland Ohio Region raised on the east side, in a single parent household. Mr. Gresham faced many challenges with neighboring streets including Gangs, violence, drugs, and many other distractions that could hinder a youth in his earliest stages of life. During his pre- teen years Denzel stayed physically active attending The Word Church, and playing multiple sports such as baseball, cross-country, basketball, and swimming while in season. Mr. Gresham faced some challenges due to the lack of mentorship, and guidance received as a young adult resulting in his mother and himself moving to Mesquite Texas where his uncle could help support Denzel in his journey to becoming a responsible and dependable man for the future. Mr. Gresham immediately adapted to the new environment and was off to a fantastic start, getting involved in sports, increasing academic acumen, and being a stellar son in the household, but like any teen getting ready to enter High School he would face many pressures that could ultimately dictate the trajectory of his future. In High School Denzel maintained a 3.0 GPA Average and was a Varsity Player for Basketball and Football for part of his Sophomore year until the end of his Senior year where he committed to the prestigious RICE University on a full athletic scholarship, but due to some complications his senior year Denzel chose a full athletic scholarship to University of The Incarnate Word, where he was able to renew his faith with Jesus Christ through FCA huddles, and a life altering camp experience. After finishing his degree in International Business/ Communications in San Antonio TX, Mr. Gresham decided to come back to Cleveland Ohio, to seek ways to have a positive impact in his community, he was able to build a connection with Nobles Darby and his team and is now serving and well on his way to becoming a Missionary leader for Christ and fulfilling God's will to win souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.
